Gang Drills Notching Machines and Custom Equipment

MPI offers custom equipment for offline production of your composite pultrusions. We have built notchers, gang drills, and machining equipment for door fabrication. Tell us your needs for offline fabrication and we will either help you with the equipment or direct you to the sources to produce the machinery you need.

MPI Inline Winder

MPI principles have built the largest winders in the industry to the smallest for everything from windsurf masts, to hockey sticks to pressure pipe and fiber optic conduit. Contact MPI for your inline winding needs and questions. Our winders incorporate standard industry glass or carbon creels.

MPI Roll Mat Slitter

MPI has used its experience as a pultruder to develop a user friendly broad goods slitter. Our slitter is a "one-man" design that incorporates a built-in hoist for ease of loading a full roll. A built-in jib crane will handle a full length and full diameter roll of material and sliding the heavy roll onto the machine is a one-man operation. The machine also features multiple mandrel sizes and multiple expanding cores to accomodate the mutitude of cores available in the industry. The slitter also features digital readout for cut lengths, shrink wrap stations for cut rolls, 100 foot blade canister and the latest in blade technology.

MPI Stand Alone Saw

Some pultruders already have machinery but need to either upgrade their saw, or add a saw to their line. MPI offer customers a Saw that is "Plug and Play". These saws are ready to drop into any pultrusion line and can be immediately put to work. Just give us your process height, line speed and machine window dimensions and we can build a saw to solve your immediate inline cutting needs.

MPI take-up reels are specially design for ease of use and quick reel replacement. The pultrusion process requires variable speed and tension requirements for take-up packaging.
